I will see but not sure if in theater or rent. I haven't seen a movie in a theater since 2012.
I've only been to three movies in the theater since J was born. I have a love/hate relationship with theaters.

Anyone else try to read this in their first tri? I never could make it through lol. I think the movie probably won't be as bad. I will wait for Netflix!

My girlfriends and I will likely go to it. I'm anticipating it to be pretty bad...but we'll see. I'm kind of glad it's a no name actor...I couldn't picture Charlie Hunnam in that role. He's a bad hot biker dude permanently in my mind since the inception of SOA!

I didn't love the first book, but I'm sure I will see the movie at some point. Did anyone here watch 'The Fall,' on Netflix? The main character in 50 Shadws is also the main character in the TV show. He plays a serial killer, so now whenever I see this guy, that's all I think of!

The book was horrendous. I can't put into words how much I disliked it.

I'll see the movie but I don't see how they can make the movie and it not be porn. I do enjoy seeing how they make books into movies in general though. Might make a fun girls night.

I never read the books and wont be seeing the movie. I live in tr he south where the womans place is in the kitchen and bedroom stereotype is bad enough here. I didnt want to read about a womanizer and sexist asshole. Sorry thats how I see it, and I heard it was written horribly. Not my thing, my husband is amazing.

Am I the only one who loved the books?!?  I know the writing was mediocre at best, but damn they were hot!
I really want DH to see it, but I am super doubtful that I can get him to watch it in a theatre.

I thought they were sexy despite the bad writing. The first book was the best since the sick value was there and I admit I skipped a lot if the sex towards the end but I still thought they were fun. ;-) It's not like I read then thinking they were going to win a pulitzer :-)

I haven't been in a movie theatre since I was pregnant. I used to go all of the time. I'd probably choose the next X-men move over 50 Shades of Grey.
