CPW Boy Names

Jumping on the poll train:
We really liked the name Avery but feel like the girls have completely stollen it, so we're leaning toward Averell for our boy (after Averell Harriman, a former NY governor, and Averell gin (also named for the governor)). I also like Henry and Nathaniel, and my husband is pulling for Fitzwilliam as a middle name. Our last name is one syllable and starts with an L. So, do any of these appeal to you?

I'm biased toward Henry. I really like the way Henry Averell flows.

I dig Fitzwilliam.  I think Henry Fitzwilliam sounds nice and classic.  I dislike Nathaniel Averell because both names ending in L make it sing-songy.

And Averell Nathaniel L makes for a really bad acronym!

Another vote for Henry. I might have picked Nathaniel if you paired it with a different mn, though, because I do love that name. Also, Henry Fitzwilliam > Henry Averell! Sorry I just don't care for Averell at all...curious whether it's pronounced like Avril Lavigne?

Henry was our number 2 name, but I am not sure how I feel about Averell

Averell has three syllables and a hard A.

I feel like Averell sounds like the girl name Averil (French for April, and like Averil Lavigne). I love Henry but its so so popular right now.,Nathaniel is my favorite boys name, and I can't use it because my best friends son's name is Nathaniel.
