I've been lurking on a few boards, unsure of where I fit in, started on infertility, moved to adoption, and now awaiting a baby boy due August 15 if all goes as planned. I know I'm not experiencing all of the "stuff" that comes along with pregnancy, but I am going to be a mom and could really use some mommy support. I'm 36 years old, had my first child when I was 18, that makes her 18 and me needing a mommy refresher course! Sorry for such a late intro, I just wasn't sure if my situation would be welcome on this board. BTW I'm an August baby myself;)
Thanks! Everything is local, I've developed what I consider an amazing relationship with expectant mom, she let's me attend her doctors appointments which have been a lot lately, 2 NST each week. We were matched with her in early March so I've gotten to experience most of her pregnancy along with her...without the nausea, weight gain, back pain, poking and prodding, etc.!
Let me tell you a pregnancy you can drink throughout IS all it's cracked up to be;) I'm more of beer girl, Mich Ultra preferably, but I enjoy the occasional glass of wine. Although at 36 I'm finding it a little harder to recover the next day! Thanks for the support ladies!!! I can't wait to share our story with you all:)
