    Hey ladies!!!  I went back in for b/w today because my estrogen shot up from the day before -- I don't get told numbers usually, but she said not to worry.  I will most likely go back in for b/w and u/s tomorrow.  I could trigger anytime between tomorrow and Friday depending!

    -----

    QOTD:  I came up with this...so it should be easy to answer lol.  When I'm in the moment, I know I have TOO many, but for now I would say that crappy drivers make me CRAZZZYYY.  SO many people anymore don't use turn signals, or they break when no one is around them, or don't wave thank you when you stop to let them in front of you.  Oh and old people....don't get me started LOL

    @Sha259‌ GL with retrieval tomorrow!

    AFM- had an u/s yesterday and I have 12 follies 9-13mm and my e2 came back at 680. I'm not sure if it's a great number but my RE seemed happy and this cycle seems to be going better, so I'm happy.

    QOTW- @jszy10‌ I completely agree on the horrible drivers. It annoys me that 70% of traffic here is due to people not knowing how to merge properly.

  • ******Warning: BFP mentioned*********

    I have beta #2 tomorrow, I'm so nervous!! I am so super bloated (which was actually my first sign) and my nurse said I likely have mild OHSS. She said it gets worse when you get a BFP. And I thought my boobs were super sore on the progesterone, today they are at least 2x as sore and sensitive. Hopefully that's a good sign. I'm still on PIO and really hoping that after my 3rd beta/progesterone levels my RE will let me switch to suppositories. My backside sure is getting sore but I'll take it!! I'm cautiously excited that this is for real!

    My biggest pet peeve is when someone refers to their abdomen as their stomach! I don't know why I cringe at that (maybe it's the nurse in me) but I do.

    Thank you @sha259

    Still in the 2WW... DAY 11.  Negative HPT this morning.   I have a sister who never showed a positive on a HPT when she was pregnant so I am hoping that is me.

    However, I just have a feeling it didn't work and we are out this month.  I will find our for sure tomorrow.

    Congrats to those BFP's though!   and Good Luck to everyone else in the 2WW, in between or stimming.

    QOTD:  My biggest pet peeve... Hmmmmm, I would have to say people who talk or play on their phone while out to dinner or hanging out with friends.  Completely DISRESPECTFUL!   We have a rule that there are no phones allowed at the dinner table and when we are with friends our phones are put away as well.  Afterall, those you are with at that moment should have your full attention.   We were out to dinner once and I watched a teen age girl and her mom sitting across the table from us.  The mom was scrolling through and typing into her phone the entire time while the teenage girl just sat there.   They said maybe 5 words to each other.  It was so sad and I felt so bad for the girl who in those hard teenage years could probably use a mom who is more attentive.

    ME: 37, DH: 40
    TTC since September, 2005 (8 yrs and 9 mos - but who's counting)

    Dx: PCOS, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis
    Tried to conceive naturally on just clomid off and on for several years.
    IVF #1:  4-24-2014:  Started an IVF Cycle on Clomid, my body didn't respond so it was cancelled.
    IVF #2:  7-11-2014:  BFFN :(

    Our RE believes I have an Immune Disorder that destroys my eggs and our embryos.

    We decided against any more testing or procedures with Infertility and are Happily waiting to Adopt our little one.

    @jzsy10 - I hope everything looks good for you to trigger soon. :)

    @snegde - it only takes one. and six is not bad at all!! Remember, quality over quantity.

    @Bcara11 - Holy cow 23 is a lot! I hope that those yield some really strong embryos for you.

    @jessimi06 - If your RE is happy then you are probably fine. I also didn't know what numbers they were looking for, but they told me that everything is usually okay as long as your E2 isn't increasing too fast.

    @denbk - You aren't out yet lady! I hope that your Beta will bring good news.

    @baby_blessings - Welcome, and good luck during your 2WW.

    @grailseeker14 - I went through this whole stim cycle not feeling any side effects at all. I was on 300-375 iu Bravelle and 150 iu Menopur, and 5-10 units Lupron the whole time. The worst I felt was abdominal twinges around the ovaries, and that was only on Saturday and Sunday. Other than that, I haven't felt fatigued or any sort of pain. I have a BFF who also went through IVF, and her experience was completely different (her first cycle was so bad and painful for her that she couldn't do it again). I just feel lucky.

  • @jzsy10 FX for you

    @Bcara11 awesome #'s FX for just as great a fert report!

    @snegde‌ FX for a good fertilization report!!

    congrats @mandeedandeedoo and @lillovebug79

    GL @baby_blessings

    We had our transfer on saturday, transfered 2 day 3 8 cell embies, they said they looked great.  So FX.  Beta is the 30th, the day after my birthday, so definately not testing before hand.

    biggest pet peeve: probably just has to do with my work and how all the people who are totally unqualified get promoted because they need their last 3  years highest salary for retirement.

  • @Alicia_R1‌ - congrats on being PUPO!

    @denbk - You're not out until that beta comes back. FX that it comes back nice and strong.

    @snedge - yes, quality over quantity. I was disappointed that I only had 9, but I kept reminding myself that if there had been more, they likely wouldn't have been mature. I can't wait to hear your fert report.

    @Bcara11 - wow! I can't wait to hear your feet report too.

    @baby_blessings‌ - I hope your ET went well today!

    @Sha259 - Good luck tomorrow!

    ET went very well this morning. We transferred two 8 cell embies. He said they looked great. The other two are growing ahead of schedule which he said isn't good. We will know on Friday if they will be frozen or not. My beta is 8/5. I will POAS long before that.

    I have just been relaxing today. I took a nice Valium induced nap and now we are just laying around.

    QOTD: My biggest pet peeve is people who complain they have so much work to do and get behind but spend most of their time doing things at work that aren't work related.

    Me: 30  DW (aka C): 29

    11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.

    12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

    12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

  • Well I took a hpt yesterday at day 6 it was bfn. I know its early but I still just have that feeling that it didnt work. Cramps all day today on and off and just in a bad mood. Im out next month due to vacation and I just was so optimistic.
    Congrats to all the bfps!
    Biggest pet peeve... people eating with their mouth open makes me want to scream. Especially when they are talking to me and I can see it.
  • @jszy10 I'm sorry I didn't update the front as I had planned!! I had a rough morning. :(
    I'm excited you'll be triggering soon!!!

    @sha259 Good luck tomorrow!! Your plan for the day sounds great. :)

    @snegde FX for you!!!

    @bcara11 Yay!!  FX for you as well!

    @lillovebug79 Did they tell you anything to do to minimize the possibility of OHSS? Hope everything is okay, and FX for your next beta!!

    @baby_blessings welcome!

    @grailseeker14 I have been fortunate and haven't had any effects from Lupron either! (I did have reallllly sore boobs, though I assumed that was related somehow to PMS?) But other than that none.

    @alicia_R1 Yay!! FX for you!

    AFM, I had some drama this week that I posted about when my extra Lupron wasn't delivered by Fed Ex on Saturday as it should have been. Fortunately, I had enough to last me through Monday, and the pharmacy sent me another box through private courier. I go back on Thursday for another baseline appt. That will be 19 days of Lupron. I actually am having some bleeding today... though not full flow, but it definitely feels like AF in every other way (cramping, exhaustion, etc.) so I am hopeful that this will bring my estrogen level down so I can start stims soon!

    @krsimmons3 DAY 6 is really way too early to get a positive on a HPT.  I hope your feelings are wrong and that it did in fact work.

    Although, I'm right there with you on feeling like it didn't work.  I'm on DAY 11 (beta tomorrow) and had a negative HPT this morning.

    Here is to hoping we are both wrong and that we both have sticky babies in there :)    Good Luck!!!

  • @denbk good luck in the morning! Ill be thinking of ya!
  • Hi ladies. Went in yesterday and today for scans/labs. So far I only have 4 measurable follicles which is kind of bumming me out. They just called and said to continue 150 Follistim and 75 Menopur and to hold off still on adding Ganirelix. I go back in tomorrow morning for another scan/labs. Last time I did IVF I ended up with 9 eggs of which only 4 were mature. Of those they transferred two and the other two didn't make it. The doc said I didn't respond as well as they hoped, so this cycle they added Menopur and cut out Lupron when I started stimming. Why am I responding less this time?!??!?!? I know it only takes one, but I really was hoping for more this time around.

    QOTD: my MIL......lol

  • @jencity the nurse basically said that when you get a BFP, OHSS gets worse and there's really nothing I can do but drink a lot of water and call if it gets worse.

    @denbk‌ FX so hard for a good beta for you tomorrow!!

    @KRSimmons3‌ I didn't have a very good feeling about my cycle either. I also got a BFN at 6dpt so at least you know your trigger is out of your system!! Good luck!

    Well it is Official, I was right.  Negative :(
    I thought I had prepared myself for the call but it was worse than I had imagined.

    Next Step...  Testing.  Our RE thinks that my over-active immune system is to blame in destroying my eggs and the embryos they implanted.   Here is a link explaining it https://www.tipsonhealthyliving.com/health-and-wellness/the-secret-immune-disorder-that-destroys-fertility.

    He said this is treatable but an expensive and time consuming process.   After we get the initial testing done to find out if for sure this is our problem we will decide if it is worth it to go through treatment or if we move on to other options.

  • ******WARNING: BFP mentioned*********

    My second beta is in at 286 so it over doubled in 2 days!! I'm relieved but still cautiously optimistic! I have a 3rd beta with P4 level on Friday. I'm so nervous but this is getting real :) My ultrasound will be at 6 1/2-7 weeks if things continue to go well. My only sign is super, super sore boobs!! Well and the crazy bloating from OHSS. I have my fingers crossed for the rest of you to join me with your BFPs!!!!

    @denbk I am so so so sorry for this news. Do be good to yourself. I hope that any testing that your doctor does for the immune disorder will give you clear answers and a strong path forward. ((((HUGS)))) Hun.

    @lillovebug79 I don't think anyone will think you did that on purpose, and we are all sharing our experiences on this crazy roller coaster that is IVF.

    We will see alot of news in this thread, happiness and disappointments. I think it's awesome that we have a place where we can all just BE there for each other. In the good and in the bad times.

    AFM, ER went really well. I was worried because I really haven't been feeling bad at all, and didn't know if that was because I wasn't responding well. In the end, we only ended up retrieving 9 eggs, but we will hear about their maturity and fert rate likely tomorrow. I don't feel bad about this number, I just hope that they were mature enough to be fertilized. We are doing ICSI with assistance of the PICSI dish, so I hope that picking the best of the best of DH swimmers will also work in our favor.

    I also just realized that I never answered the QOTD. My pet peeve is people who chew food and gum with their mouth open. There are times when DH does it while chewing gum, and I just look at him as if he is an alien from another planet, until he closes his mouth.;;)
  • @denbk - I'm so sorry. I was hoping so much that you were the same as your sister and that you just weren't going to have a positive HPT. I hope that the testing brings you answers. We place so much hope into IVF and I keep reminding myself that it isn't a cure all. Each cycle is a learning process, albeit an expensive one at times and also an emotionally devastating one.
