We are currently team green but... I really like the name Jameson (James is my father and grandfather's middle name), but my husband isn't a fan. I think we are going with Noah James right now (although Noah is one of the most popular names this year and I wasn't sure if I wanted to use it. BUT it is the only one we have agreed on)
D14 - Free For All

Team green here so if we have a DS he will be Alistair Cash, or Daniel Cash. Alistair, is a family name and Cash I came up with out of nowhere and DH loved it. We would be calling him Cash but if he wants a more professional name when he's older he'll be able to use his first. Plus Cash with our last name sounds bad ass
I've mentioned this before, but we are naming our boy Eric James, after my late brother.
If we have another boy, my husband is set on the name Mickey (like Mickey Mantle). He and all his brothers love that name for some reason, and I've actually met more than 1 Mickey in our area. I thought maybe we could name him Michael and have Mickey for short, but my BIL's name is Michael (my sister's husband) and as much as I love my BIL, I think it would be weird that our kid had his same name. Since we have a very Irish last name, I feel like little Mickey's only future prospects are mobster or professional baseball player. At first I protested, but he just loves it so much, and it is slowly growing on me.
I feel like I should have jumped on his other favorite name, Lou (which I actually really like), but now Mickey is in his head.
We just found out our lil'bean is a little man, and I'm super excited! On the Name front though we have hit a stalemate, we can't come to any agreement.
I wanted to name him Jaxon Lee, but he does not like the spelling. We have agreeded to make up seperate lists and hopefully come to some middle ground happiness.
So far I've got:
Aubrey Axel Cayden/Cade/Kayden/Caiden Declan Graysen Jackson/Jaxon Layne\Lane Martin Noah Sawyer
I also liked Ajax but some one reminded me of the cleaning priduct... dang it
We're going with Ryker William - Ryker is a family name and its been on the rise in the last couple of years. Yes, I'm aware of Riker's Island but maybe I won't have to worry about him getting picked on!
Jackson Duane, after our grandfathers. Probably call him Jack, hubs insists on calling him JD. I was in love with my girl name (Shelby) so hoping our next one is a girl!
We don't find out until the 30th but for a boy we've chosen Roman Ian. Maren Katelyn for a girl. I'm thinking it's a boy cause that's all I dream about but my fiancée thinks it's a girl.
Caleb Lee. This was my husband's pic and he has a really heartfelt reason so its in stone. I also love Aiden, Landon and Brady. Love Hudson for a middle name too.
Leaning towards Oliver Aaron at the moment. I LOVE Oliver and I'm aware it's popular at the moment in the states but I live in auzZie and it's not so much so I love it
I have always LOVED the name Noah, but since it was #1 on the SS list for 2013, we probably won't go that way (and I'm so disappointed).
Joshua is the front runner right now. Still working on middle names but I'm leaning towards Ellis (my grandfather's name). Possibly Gerald (FIL's middle name).
We don't find out the sex for a few more weeks but if it's a boy he will be Aaron Daniel. Aaron after my grandpa and Daniel after a good friend of DH who passed away.

If you're still into Noah, you should know that it wasn't *really* #1, depending on how you look at it. If you go by all the different spellings of Aidan, Jackson, and Jayden, - those names end up being more popular than Noah. In general, Noah really only has one way that it is spelled (without being too crazy), which is why it's so far up the list. Also, even with different spellings, the #1 name now is much less common than the #1 name from 20 years ago or so because people are choosing from a much broader bank of names.
Last year when Noah was #1, there were about 18,000 boys with that name, whereas in 1985 when Michael was the most common name, more than 64,000 boys were named Michael (!!!)
We are considering Chase, Jayden (or Jaden), Malachi, and Kaizen - I was so convinced we were having a girl and had a name for her so when we found out it was a boy we were back to square one!
Unfortunately my brother has dibs on Cooper (family name), or that would have been number #1. We also considered Asher (which is similar to my maiden name) but Jax won out.
Re: What're you naming your boy? :)
