Unable to keep water down all day

I think I have a bug of some sort. I've been throwing up since I woke up this morning and unable to keep anything down. I'm starting to worry about dehydration. How long should I wait to go in and get everything checked out??

    Yuck, hope you feel better. I say if you're worried call the on call line if you have one or go to er.

    That sounds awful. My doctor said if you can't keep anything down for 24 hours to call their emergency line if that helps.

    I had a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago.  My doctor said to keep trying sips of water and watch for signs of dehydration (dry mouth, no urine/very dark urine).  I didn't keep anything down for about 36 hours, but never got to the point of dehydration.  Doesn't hurt to put in a call to your doc though.
