How long until you received your disability

I am on my 4th wk out pre L&D and I have still not received anything in the mail from NJ disability. How long did it take for you to get something in the mail from them? I feel like I am going to have the baby and still not have anything from them.

I didn't go out till a week before the baby was born, but my last day of work was November 15, I had the baby on November 25, didn't get all the paperwork filled out and sent in for about 2 weeks due to the crazy snow (I think it was 12/9 or so).  I got my payment the first week of the new year, so I guess it was about 3 weeks or so.  

I believe you can go on the website and check on the progress of your payment.

You can login in online mon-fri 6-5pm I think and check the status. You have to have been out 2 weeks before you can check. And call your hr dept to make sure they submitted the forms.

I started my leave on Oct 28th, and the first check was in the mailbox when we came home on Nov 17th
