I hate when the day comes when my brother, sister in law, and nephews have to head back. It never gets any easier- and it's only going to et harder when Brooke gets older.

* edited bc I hit post way too early!

Sharing some of the pics with my brother and Brooke- my nephew and Brooke- my nephew and me.

Re: Dreading this day

  • I am with there with ya. We live in SD andboth our families are in MA. Between finances and time off work we won't be able to go visit until some time next year. My Mom, his parents, my sister and my Aunt all came to visit at different times. But my Dad, other sister and nieces, and DH's brother have yet to meet him. I haven't seen the nieces since last November and I feel like they get bigger every day. It is tough being away :/

It's tough! I only live 5 hours from family, and that's hard enough seeing them every other weekend! And I agree; atleast there's Skype. But still. It's not the same. Hugs, momma!! I feel ya!

Our families live 15 hours away. I'm so sad we won't see them again until Christmas.

  • Thanks ladies! It's really hard- we're in Cleveland they're in Jacksonville- 14 hr drive. We haven't seen them since September last year a few weeks after finding out we were expecting. We had such a wonderful visit- my mom watched all 3 of her grand kids- my two nephews and my little one while the 4 adults went out to a bar drinking and than came back and sat out on the deck with a few more beers. My husband took the week off so he could spend time with them and I worked half shifts so I could see them. Sykpe and Facebook are amazing for seeing them grow up. My sister in law and brother post a lot of pictures for us to see!

  • That's so hard! I am in Columbus and would ball my eyes out every time my sis and her hubs would head back to Atlanta. Fortunately they just moved back and my sis is now in Auntie Heaven. But I know it's so hard. We have family in Jacksonville too. Inlaws are down there now visiting. At least you have a fun place with a beach to visit when it's your turn to visit them!!
