Emily, because it's not a name that will sound dated in time.

Do you like Audrey at all?

I prefer Emily, it feels more timeless to me than Aubrey.

I'm kind of the opposite, I don't mind Aubrey, and I like the sound of Aubrey Renee more than Emily Renee. That and there's also a chance of there being 2 or 3 other Emily's in her class

Emily, because for some reason I don't like the "au" sound at the start of a name.

Wish it was Audrey Renee because that's beautiful but I voted Emily

Emily. It's all girl and easily identifiable when I read it. I always read Aubrey as Audrey initially.

Voted Emily but if there was an Audrey option I'd have gone for that.

Emily is a lovely name.  I do not find Aubrey lovely at all.

Aubrey sounds very juvenile to me and like it wouldn't grow well. Funnily enough I do really like Audrey.

I said Emily because Aubrey is a male name. But I'm not really a fan of Emily -- it's kind of boring to me.

    I like Audrey though!

Emily is classic. Aubrey is trendy and will sound very dated to her generation. And there is also a pretty darn good chance there will be other Aubrey/Aubrees in her peer group, so I'm guessing OP doesn't really care about popularity.

I have a friend named audrey, that's one of the reasons why it's not on our list. Our first thought was Emily, but DH brought up Aubrey. I just wanted to see opinions on it. Looks like we'll stick with Emily.

I have no logical (or illogical for that matter) explanation for it, but I strongly dislike the name Emily.
