Had my 10 week appointment with my new OB (she's awesome, by the way), and I got a quick ultrasound and got to hear the heartbeat!!! I took a video of it for DH who was unable to take off for this appointment. Dr. said the heart rate was in the 180s! Got to see Baby Sparrow kicking a bit, too!
I was a little disappointed in the staff at the office - the front desk lady was obviously bored with her position - no smiles, no small talk, etc. The nurse was a bit nicer, but still a bit lacking in the personality department... I'm sure I'll get used to them the more I go, and I'm used to the happy, upbeat ladies at my former OB's office.
We are going to start spreading the news this week - I'm hoping to do a cute little announcement photo to hand to all the grandparents, but we'll see if that works out. YAY for a healthy baby!!!
