They don't make them for under a certain poundage in Canada. So no idea if that helps as I don't know where you are.

I've seen them at Walmart, Costco and Dick's sporting goods. Probably lots of other places too. For infants you want to make sure to get the kind that goes behind their head to hold the face out of the water. Is he a bigger baby? I was looking at infant life jackets too(said up to 30lbs) but the ones I saw said chest size 16-something inches and I know DD's chest is still smaller than 16" because my hands fit around. She's a skinny little peanut. But maybe it would fit anyway?

Of course then there would still be the problem of how to bring her/hold her on theboat safely. So I think I'm going to have to remain a landlubber for a while.
