DD's record so far is 5 diapers in 30 minutes. I'm sure she'll have it beat soon. And all the little old ladies who told me girls don't pee all over the place during diaper changes are dirty LIARS!
Who else has a little diaper waster? What's your record?

A friend stopped by the other day to meet DD. As soon as I handed her over....she pooped. I changed her ad handed her back......immediately pooped. Changed her again, handed her over...Yeap, she pooped. This was in about a 5-8 minute period.

DD likes to do this to me at 3 am. It's her favorite late-night game.

I went thru 3 in like 5 minutes. My little DD loves to pee and poop while I'm changing her. Last week she peed and it went up into the air and got on the floor 3 feet from her changing table. DH was in shock-he got the measuring tape out.
@giggler25 DD sneak attacks me with the pee. She's a dribbler, not a sprayer, so I often don't notice until I'm putting her clothes back on and realize everything is soaked. Another fun game to play at 3 am.

Yup. Same with our little girl. Notorious for peeing during diaper changes. She also pooped in her bath... Twice. Then a third time while holding her while daddy dumped out the tub. Just changed her diaper 3 times in 10 minutes.
Sometimes we have a 3 diaper change. I've started putting a cloth wipe under his butt between him and the new diaper because he loves to poo during changes. I don't hover over DH when he's doing the daddy thing so once he yelled at me from our bedroom during a change "He just won't stop pooping!" Haha poor guy.

I only fell for the poop and then more poop one time! Cleaning poop off the wall at 3 am is not fun. We have since started a 15 min rule as it takes LO some time to do his business. I wait 15 minutes after the initial indicator of poop to change his diaper. He pees while pushing to poop so if I don't follow this rule there is definitely a wardrobe change happening. But less diapers are wasted this way in our house
We've done 3 in 5 minutes. It is amazing how much girls can spray! We've been trying to use cloth diapers during the day lately and that makes me feel better about the waste. With the disposables,it feels like throwing money in the trash each time.
Early on I had a 6 diaper change that was horrific. She would poop, then calm down (She hates pooping and screams during it) and I'd think it was safe to put the new diaper under her butt- then BAM, more poop... or pee. Or both. It kept happening over and over and over.
I don't think I've gone more than 3 recently though. She takes forever to get it all out of her system but starts screaming for a change the moment poop touches the diaper so it's always a guessing game of how long to wait before putting a clean diaper down.
Luckily we are using cloth and have quite a lot of prefolds (42) and wash when the wetbag is full (and always have at least 6 left after the bag is full to last until after the wash is done) so she can feel free to poop all over half a dozen in an hour.

One thing I do that helps is to wait 10 minutes after she poops before changing her. It's never a one-shot so waiting usually ensures I'm not doing multiple changes back to back!

LO does this to us too!! Our record is 5 in about 20-30 mins I think. Ugh!!

I can handle the 3-in-1 deals, but the up-the-backers are killing me. Diaper brand and various tightness don't change the likelihood. I get an up-the-backer a few times a week, which requires de-robing, cleaning baby, diaper change, laundry, and usually another diaper change because a clean diaper means it's time to poop again. My goodness.
Mine does the pooping game. Sometimes it'll be as soon as you put the new diaper under her she poops. We've gone through 3 diapers at a time with this game.
I'm with a few of the posters here. We wait atleast 10 - 15 min after the first poop/fart before changing her to give her time to finish and it saves diapers. I change her wet diapers when I notice them. She has still peed on us a couple of times, and she pooped once on my mom, haha. Despite our delay in changing, no rashes yet.
