Amniotic fluid

I am curious about how you woul describe the consistency of amniotic fluid. I am not sure if I am sweatier than normal, if I am leaking pee, having increased vaginal discharge or if this could be amniotic fluid. It is clear when I wipe and pretty thin in consistency. Any descriptors?

From what I hear (mine bag had to be broken, so no experience of leakage), its not suppose to smell, so smell it. Also, you can't control the flow like you can with pee. If you are not sure, I would make a call. You don't want to be leaking and not know for sure. GL!

Possibly sweetish smell. Consistency of pee.

Call your doc if you suspect your water is broken.

I just asked my dr on titles day because sometimes it will just shoot out unlike discharge so I wasn't sure. Mine is clear with some white sometimes and it does smell sweet so I am unsure. It is also thin, but I'm pretty sure I'm not peeing myself.

Anyway, my dr said that amniotic fluid will squirt out when you get up, laugh, cough or anything like that, but discharge is comes out anytime.
