what am I doing wrong!?

This may sound silly but is driving me crazy!!... LO pees through everything.. His whole back will be soaked or his whole front..I've tried many different brands of diapers..he's about 8lbs 11oz.. So in newborn diapers.. But I try to get the diaper perfect and tight but not too tight and next thing I know he's peed through the onsie! Very frustrating..everytime..I say how does this happen!?

What PP said. Size 1 diapers start at 8lbs.

I know it's counterintuitive, but when you start getting leaks, go up a size. Also make sure the leg ruffles are fluffed and out against the leg (not folded inside the diaper. And make sure his penis points down, not up!
