I went to my 6 month appointment and asked his doctor about him being crossed eyed. I'm curious if anyone else LO. is crossed eyed? it's only his left eye that goes in a little bit she said if it doesn't go away about 6 months then she'll refer me to another doctor.
Mine looks cross eyed but the doctor said it was his wide nose bridge. He is 1/4 Korean so I'm not sure if that is the reason. My b/f's mom who is full Korean said she looked cross eyed as a kid because of it. Anyway the doctor said if I really wanted a referral to a specialist to make sure I could but I said I would watch it until the next appt.
I just had my babe ruled out for strabismus. We just went to the specialist in Indy on the 16th. They didn't notice any crossing (it was mostly gone at her 4 month appt I thought), but did say her left eye is weaker vision acuity wise, more than they'd like.
Did they refer you to a specialist? I was dubious about going, but glad I did. You said 6 months. I take it as *another 6 months?
@Meeelinda Is it all the time? Or come and go? I was told they usually clear up by 6 months of age. Has it gotten any better since birth or stayed the same?
