MOTN

Can't get her to sleep alone at all now!!! So frustrating. I have figured out that the soy formula is not helping although I don't think I need to cut it from my diet. Once I stopped the soy, breast feeding is going better. I usually supplement one feeding a day or every other day with formula so I guess I need to stick to that expensive soy/dairy free stuff. Man, this is hard!!!

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? Happy Easter to those that celebrate!

Dh has family in town. Cousins with three kids. An 8yo and twin 4yos. We are going to his other cousin's house (they have a 4yo and 1m old) for lunch. More family will be there too so it will be a long, crazy day but anytime I can share and show off Abby is fine by me!

I'm so sorry precious. I really hope something starts working for you.

Up after a 3 hr stretch. He wouldn't have woken last time except he was in a literal pool of pee. My fault for putting him in a Huggies, but I hadn't gotten his cloth washed in time for bed. I don't understand what disposable users do for side sleepers. He pees through every disposable once he told over.

This second wakeup is normal for him the last week, but he's getting harder to put back down. I'm sitting in his room right now listening to him squirm and grunt and praying he'll doze off. If I have to pick him back up we'll basically have to start over.

Tomorrow DH and I are doing lunch and a movie while his mom watches M. We haven't had any alone time in 8ish weeks, so it will be good for us. Sunday we're doing Easter dinner at my parent's.

@blue_elle‌ thanks! Me too!!! Also not a fan of Huggies!

I tried getting her back down but the squirming party began. I put her on me and she burped and spit up a ton. Yuck! All over my chest (not too unusual but never pleasant). I hoped that was what was causing the squirming but nope! Put her back down and the squirming began again. Now she can roll to her side so I'm not swaddling with arms in either. We're a mess! Lol. 13 w old today (Saturday) and hard to think we will ever get this sleeping thing under control.

Please forgive me, as sure you've addressed this before, but have you ever tried her sleeping in a swing?

Troublesome Tots has interesting step by step swing sleep guide https://www.troublesometots.com/the-ultimate-baby-swing-sleep-guide-for-swing-hating-babies/

Thanks. She loves her swing. She napped once in it but otherwise she seems to be the only kid that wakes up in it. I don't like how the seat doesn't seem to go far enough back and how her head was the one time she did sleep. I guess I'm concerned about trading one bad place for another. Don't misunderstand me, I understand why anyone would put their LO in a swing or rnp to sleep, I really do, whatever works!!! But from all I read and talking so the pediatrician, she needs to be flat on her back. Not in a swing or rnp or on me. So since it is all risky, I feel safest with her on me because I wake up to the lightest movement and therefore feel if there is any issue with breathing or if she tries rolling. I know I'm not sleeping as well but I wouldn't sleep at all if she was in the swing cause I would keep checking on her for breathing. I just want her on her back whether it is the mini crib or her big crib. Hope I make some sense.

@precious72381‌ I'm sorry to hear you're still having difficulties with LO sleeping. I'll be honest - I had some difficulty releasing my sleep anxiety at each step of the way, and so did DH. He let LO sleep on him far longer than I did. But, with each progressive step, I felt more confident and more relaxed. We are on week 5 of LO in his crib in his own room, and we all sleep better.

I know you may be at a different point in your sleeping stages, but it will get better. Each step towards independent sleeping will give you both more rest! Hang in there.
