Thank you all for checking in on me, that made me feel so much better. They finally took my husband's Grandmother off of life support so she passed on. I can't speak for anyone but myself & husband and can say we feel a sense of relief.
My Husband has a couple of job leads that includes one where we might have to relocate. We don't even know where to start. We haven't been getting anywhere with this severance stuff but it's in our lawyers hands now. I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed but things are getting better and Brayden is still awesome! It's also our wedding anniversary today so i'm looking forward to dinner tonight and going away for the weekend after the funeral.
Happy anniversary! I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad she is in a better place -- as somebody who has 97 year old grandparents, I understand all the mixed emotions and I'm glad it did not drag on.
My grandma lived in a nursing home on a feeding tube for 3 years after having a stroke before they finally pulled the tube. No one deserves to live like that. Wishing your family peace with the passing.
And congrats on job leads and the anniversary! I feel like every day of marriage with kid(s) is an accomplishment. It's hard to begin with and a million times more so after you add a little person to the mix. Cheers to you!
@Jdubb13 were headed to this place called Plate 38 in my neck of the woods for some bone marrow (I guess this is the "IT" thing now and I missed the memo), duck wings, and oysters!
@lilbit0910 nope to Kansas City but at least we'll be that much closer to you!
