Hi Ladies! Another quick post during a study break! (I promise I'll be around more next week):
I heard from my OB last night that my betas on Monday were 17. She still recommended I wait 2-3 cycles but said "an 'oops' wouldn't be the worst thing in the world", haha.
I had an appointment with a new RE in the same practice and I like him SO MUCH MORE. He really sat down and explained to me what they tested for, what they were looking for and what his plan of action was (all things that the last RE never did). He took some more blood to check my betas (they were down to 15.2 today!!!) and did an ultrasound to make sure my uterus was completely cleared.
So this is the plan:
I am coming back in next Wednesday for more beta testing-- I feel pretty confident they should be down to zero by then. Once we hit zero I have four weeks to chart my cycle and try to get pregnant on my own. If we don't see hide nor hair of a menstrual cycle by then, we are going to start discussing Clomid.
I feel really good about this-- it's so comforting to know that I *finally* have a plan instead of muddling around with questions!
it's always awesome to have a plan in place, instead of having everything up in the air. i'm so glad you've found an RE you're comfortable with too. both of those things are really important.

This post is just full of awesome! A) I love having a plan and that you have a great RE!
I just recently cemented a plan of my own with my RE and it just feels so good to have some control over something that really is so much out of your control! Yay!
