I used to be a lurker but am trying to become a more regular poster. I'm just curious... What's the story behind the screen names you chose? My name is Rachel and my birthday is October 19th. Yep, super creative! LOL

Some of you have interesting names. Any history to them or inside jokes?

Only the most boring screen name ever, but I was anxious to start posting and couldn't come up with anything better at the time: I became a mom in 2013. I got a bit better with my avatar, though - DS was born on Groundhog Day, so it's a groundhog.

My screen name on the knot was kind of a random jumble of letters and numbers. It was supposed to be a literary reference, but apparently to a lot of people it looked like "party to the hizzo." So everyone started calling me Hizz. When they kicked us all over to the nest I changed my name to that.

I created my account without knowing about the forums, let alone how involved I'd get with them, and had I known I would have come up with something much more creative, haha. 

It's just the beginning of my old email address... meh.

My nickname is Lilly and my husband is Collin, but when the kids started…. my mother in law should calling us lilly and co…. but It can be thought of several ways.

My guess was the exact same thing. For your name I thought maybe it's based off of grapes but gwapes is how a toddler would say it? Haha

Yes I figured you just love the 80's. They were pretty awesome. Secretly I would love to dress like Cyndi Lauper most days of the week while doing the running man. Or is that early 90's? IDK, but I did it the other night in my kitchen. The kids laughed, DH shook his head.

long time lurker who joined when another poster was outed as a fraud. a lying liar who lies if you will. hot damn the name was available so i took it. i was questioned relentlessly, which was hilarious to me that someone would actually think that anyone would be so dumb to be an AE and call themselves a liar in their name. i feel the love when anyone calls me LLL .

ETA my name waaaaaay back when i joined TK was "carolinagirlnumbers" or something similar, back in '03.
