I know there is a thread from a while ago about this. But I'm mobile and didn't feel like searching through 20pages to find it.

Anyways, I was driving to my first client today, and just had a thought to myself. Easter is THIS Sunday, which means there is only 10days left of April, which also means some of the May moms have like 2 weeks left!!!! My due date is the 14th, so I have about 4 weeks left, but I'm like holy moly some May moms are having their babies like tomorrow... This shit is actually happening, babies are going to be here before we know it!!!!

Tell me about it! I'll be 38 weeks on Friday and I plan to work until my due date. All the girls at work just stare at me as I make my way to my cubicle every morning. I feel like 38 weeks is an oh shit moment. Like oh shit I only have 2 more weekends before my due date.....

Due May 5th here, at my last two prenatal visits inducing and delivering me early has been thrown into the conversation by my OB because of blood pressure issues. I am ready and impatient at this point.

May 5 due date here as well.  MIL made a comment to me last night that today marks the day that if I went into labor LO will be fine surviving on his own outside my womb.  Also once I hit 37 weeks I can give birth at the midwifery center.  If I went into labor before I would have to go to the hospital.  Anytime now....  that freaks me out.  Also knowing this is my last week at work.... it got real fast YO!

Yep. I'm hoping this week will fly. I spent all day today running around trying to get paperwork for my leave in order. Tomorrow I have a house cleaning team coming (gift from a friend) and then my kids have a half day/Easter break from Weds - Mon.

And then I go to the Dr and he says I'm 3cm dilated, 70% effaced. So I'm like shit yea let's do work, then he's like it could be a while yet. Grumble. I grab on to anything I can that may even remotely indicate that labor is close (even though I know i can walk around dilated/effaced/whatever else for weeks) and then I get pissed when nothing happens.

Same EDD here but I feel like I need that time!

Several of the May moms have already had their babies. When the first few started making their appearance, that certainly hit home for me!

I'm due May 11th- just hit 36 wks yesterday. Had a Drs appt Friday and she's head down and 1 cm. We made it through both our baby showers and now we just need to get everything in order, return what needs to be, but what we still need and than she can make her big arrival

May 4th here! I started my maternity leave today so shit got really real. The crib and dresser are coming tomorrow to, which means even more real shit!

Due May 9, but I am being induced either May 2 or May 5. DH put together the double stroller and pack n play yesterday, that was definitely my shit got real moment! I am SO ready to be done, but I am terrified of this baby coming early because I am totally not ready yet. We are down to the wire, and this week I have to get her room finished and my bags packed.. Hoping we have a bit more time!

With my son, the first time I grabbed a gallon of milk that expired past my due date was the first panic attack I think I've ever had. I remember that moment so vividly!

Had my weekly doc appt yesterday afternoon and looks like I will most likely be induced next Thursday due to BP concerns. Ummm toes are no longer tapping. Shit just got real all of a sudden.

I'm May 29th, but doc won't let me go past 37 weeks (May 14th) bc of twins.  My moment came when my car turned into a baby mobile - two car seats in the back...that is basically all this car can do - drive babies around   And today when the midwife said, "It could be tomorrow, it could be 2 weeks from now."  Two weeks?!  I need to finish that nursery.

I got diagnosed with choleostasis yesterday and the doctor scheduled my c section for noon on the 22nd. 6 days... Shit just got real.

I finally had this moment today. Went in for my normal checkup and Dr says she is in position and ready to go. It's just a matter of when contractions start. I'm not due until May 18th, so it is likely several weeks out, but the shift to WEEKS was a huge knock upside the head. There may very well be a person in there and a baby at the end of this road. In my overextended denial period, I also agreed to close on our home May 15th. My head and desk have become very well acquainted today.

Due may 8 but only have one real week of work left (unless LO is a snot like DS and show up two weeks late). Realized this as I was driving home from work yesterday as boss came in to discuss who will temporarily be managing while I'm gone.

Induction scheduled for 4/28, so eleven days at the maximum. But the real moment that I started to panic yesterday was when the dr. told me that baby is head down at 0 station, and my cervix is 80% effaced and 2cm dilated. I know it could mean nothing, but things are starting to happen. At the very least, it should mean that the induction will go fairly quickly, since the cervix is already ready.

I packed my bag, and now I need to pack my two year old's bag so that I am not panicking if/when my water breaks, like I was last time. And I definitely cannot trust my husband to actually pack a decent overnight bag for my son.

I'm 1cm dilated! Glad things are slowly progressing on their own makes me feel good. I've popped the cartilage in my pelvis twice this week too! I feel all weird and loose down there so helpfully we don't go past EDD
