Fertility Centers in Illinois

Hello all,

So I actually posted this originally in Chicago Babies forum but got no feedback so I thought I would repost here. Quick question..has anyone had any positive experiences with any fertility centers in Northern IL. I am looking for a dr. with good IUI success rates, friendly, and a clinic that doesn't have a lot of hidden costs. I would appreciate any feedback. Also, if you have avg iui cycle prices without meds in this area if known. Thanks, I hope everyone is having an exceptional Monday!!

    We currently live in Evanston, recently moved from Lakeview area in Chicago. We go to Davies IVF Specialist. Dr. Davies is a great doctor, she is very friendly and helpful. We have done 3 IUIs there and are currently in our TWW for IUI #3. Dr. Davies is located in Glenview. It is a bit of a drive for us but totally worth it. It is a smaller clinic which we like because it is way more personable. Dr. Davies even gave us her personal cell phone number in case we had questions. The entire staff there greets us by name. I was worried when we got into this process that we would be treated different being a lesbian couple but Dr. Davies and her staff are totally open and make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend them. If you need any other info let me know. Oh also, if you do not have a known donor and do not have a donor selected, they help with that process as well. OK thats all. Hope you find what you are looking for!!

    Started TTC in January 2014. 

    IUI #1 -Clomid, + HCG Trigger BFN

    IUI #2 - Gonal F + HCG trigger BFN- benched for 2 weeks due to cysts. Placed on BCP

    IUI #3 -Gonal F + HCG trigger BFN - benched for 3 weeks due to 6 cysts. Placed on BCP

    Trying again next cycle doing IVF

    thanks @Laurenblum May I ask are you paying OOP? Do you have an estimate of how much you are paying each cycle?

    We are actually covered under insurance so I do not have a price list or anything like that but I am sure they will provide you with one. They have a facebook page and occasionally will post to speak with them for assistance with OOP patients. They also have financing available if that is something you are interested in. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

    Also. if you are looking for a place to pay out of pocket and are low on funds, Howard Brown Center in Lakeview area of Chicago does IUIs and they do a graded scale type pay. I am not too sure what their success rates are though.
