I'm early this morning. I'm on day 10 of stimming. I had 10 follies Friday 3 were 11 and 10 and 7 were 7-9. My E2 was only 300. I go back in the morning and I have a feeling they have grown a lot by how I'm feeling. I've been running 2 miles every morning but that's come to a halt, I'm so crampy and I tried to do lots of gardening yesterday but it hurts.

Is it just me or do you feel like you are watching a horse race with this stimming? I laughed the other night after my us explaining to my husband that 3 were in the lead and 7 weren't far behind. I'm going for us #5 tomorrow to see which follie has pulled in the lead, I'm really hoping I have a Secretariat in this bunch because I've bet a lot on this race.

ETA: I always forget the QOTW: I bought another palm tree and a bunch of shrubs the other day, exciting I know.

Not much to update here. I am 9 DPO for our last break cycle before starting out FET with donor embryos. Everything is pretty much in place and set to go for this cycle. I should start meds in 6 days.

QOTW: Extending my business trip to the UK to include a weekend in London. I felt a little guilty spending the money, but DH pointed out that who knows when the next chance I'll get to see London will be so I should take the opportunity. It was fun. I don't think I would ever want to live in London, but it is a great place to visit.

My first IUI was cancelled yesterday when I went in for my monitoring appointment since I over stimmed. I had decent size follies before the doctor stopped counting and told me unless I want to end up like Kate Gosselin do not have sex with my husband without some form of protection. I'm happy the clomid worked but a little upset that my RE didn't start me with a lower dose for my first cycle. Now I'm going to have to wait one or two cycles to try again since I'm out of the province all next month for work.
Qotw: I haven't really splurged on anything big in months, a lot of little things like getting a nicer bottle of wine or getting dessert when we go out to a restaurant.

9dpiui over here, just waiting on AF or a miracle... I've had cramps in my lower back for the last couple of days on and off, and I always feel like my body is fighting the progesterone suppositories when that happens. Fingers crossed I can still have a 'normal' LP.

Probably the last big splurge was our vacation to North & South Carolina last year... we were hoping that would be the last trip before baby! Now we're sticking around town to save $. I did buy myself a necklace last night, not very expensive but it still feels like a splurge to me

I just had my 5th IUI. As of Friday it looked like I was only going to have one mature follie. Well, as of this morning, it looks like the three smaller ones took a run for it and we have 4 mature follies. Our sample was 47 million after the thaw and they were zooming around! I will be starting Endometrin suppositories tomorrow morning. My 30th birthday is the 24th which will be 11 dpiui. I'm not sure whether I will test at home or not. I'm sure I will as I can never wait.

QOTW: We splurged in March and went on a vacation to Florida. I also just splurged and bought tickets to an Aerosmith concert for July.

Gearing up for IUI 1.2 over here. This is an unmedicated cycle just to take a breather from Clomid. Had my mid-cycle scan on Friday. If i dont get a positive OPK by monday, we'll trigger that night and do the IUI on Wednesday. I really hope things work out for us this time.
QOTW: no major splurges lately, but i did go shopping for new clothes a few weeks ago!

I'm still on a break and trying to decide if I'm going back to my old RE or my new one that I saw for a second opinion. DH wants to try another IUI with the new RE before committing to IVF. I have to have an MRI scheduled 'cause of my migraines and after I get the results, we'll decide what to do next. 

QOTW: I don' t usually splurge, but I went clothes shopping yesterday (in person and online). I feel bad for spending the money, but I really don't shop too often... and I guess showing up to work naked wouldn't be ideal.

Nothing new here. Still waiting for AF or O if FF was wrong.

The last thing we splurged on was our cruise in July. We're saving for a house so there's not much wiggle room these days. On the bright side, if we keep it up, we'll be able to build our own house on a small piece of land a little at a time and avoid a mortgage.

I took my last BCP last night, so now I'm just waiting for CD1. I go in for my baseline on Wednesday, with or without a period. I'm hoping that AF will show up soon since I'm not on Lupron this time. Hopefully stims will start on Wednesday night!

QOTW: Gosh, I can't remember the last time we splurged on anything. Maybe Christmas gifts? I don't really count that as a splurge though - we didn't buy anything crazy, we just have big families. I guess that our trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter last summer was the last big purchase we made.

Had my follie scan today, CD13 and I have one beautiful follie that's 17mm and change. I will either trigger Tuesday night with IUI Thursday, or earlier if I get a positive OPK before Tuesday afternoon. This will be our first IUI since DH going on meds and I. AM. SO. PUMPED. to actually feel like we're back on track! I'm trying not to act too excited though, because I know DH is nervous about what his numbers will be and I don't want nerves to affect his sample. I have so much running though my head, like I have to remember to either BD today or otherwise help DH clear out the "old spermies" and this will be my first trigger, so have to decide if I want to test it out, mentally prepare to give it to myself, etc. As I left the RE today, however, she handed me the script for the Ovidrel and noted that she put plenty of refills (12) on it. It hit me on the drive home that she put TWELVE refills...there is just no way I would play this game that many times!! I know she didn't mean anything by it, but still... all in all however, I'm excited and hopeful!***********ETA I forgot QOTW: my last "splurge" was a winter blanket for my horse. I bought a super nice one and it cost a ton, though all DH knows is that "I got it on sale" which is true, but I don't plan on him knowing the actual number...

Good luck to those that are in their 2ww!! Not much here. FF should be giving me crosshairs either tomorrow or Tuesday. I did get a distinctive positive OPK this cycle! I have my follow up appointment on Tuesday. He had to cancel my appointment last Thursday. QOTW - DH needed a new clutch for his car, buy wanted a performance clutch. We've spent so much money on his car this past month.

ETA - As long as I have a high temp tomorrow, FF gave me an O date of Saturday.  That means we would have it -1 and +1.  This will be the longest 2WW...partly because after listening to DH after my LAP, I have hope.  I've never been one to POAS until I've been *late* a couple of days...but this may change this month!

I'm waiting in AF to get here after my canceled cycle which should be any time now! Like any moment! LOL. For some reason time is moving so much more slowly with this canceled cycle than with the IUIs.

QOTW: I seriously can't remember our last splurge!

I'm 2dpo. Went for my CD13 u/s and had one follicle that was about 15mm. Then I ovulated the next day so who knows. I did this last month too. I don't know why I keep ovulating such small follies. Any ideas???
QOTW: The last thing we splurged on was new living room furniture back in February. We blew our budget out of the water but we really love this new furniture.

Currently on CD 17...last month I ovulated on CD 21...so just waiting to O. Last month was the first time since TTC that I actually O'd. If this cycle is a bust RE wants DH to repeat his SA. RE actually wanted him to repeat it this week but we didn't want to miss out on our bedding.
QOTW: Well our wedding anniversary was last week so we splurged on a really nice hotel room and dinner at an expensive restaurant...but as we were leaving the restaurant I thought to myself that dinner was the equivalent of our IUI...I know I'm always thinking about IF smh

QOTW: I bought a Canon A-1 film camera on Friday! It should be here tomorrow! I am so freaking excited! I haven't shot film with a *good* film camera before, so this will be a fun adventure for me!

Currently 11dpIUI. I have been testing since 9dpIUI all BFN, getting discouraged and wishing I had gone beta or bust like I did for my IVF cycle. It's too late to stop now. Beta is on Wednesday so tomorrow I am breaking out the FRER.

BFN for IVF #1. I emailed my nurse to see what's next. I need a plan. QOTW: At 11:30 PM last night, I bought tickets to see Billy Joel in DC in July and booked a hotel room. It was very not in the budget, but we got our BFN yesterday and needed something to look forward to.

I splurged by finally breaking down and buying myself a nice dress that I won't really wear much, after spending 3 days helping my mom shop for a family wedding!

Ugh I dont know where I am at.... My Birthday was yesterday and I got my first ever Pos OPK this afternoon. I am on CD19 and feel like it was a false pos. I hadnt done all the research til after my cycle had already started so I havent used FF and no temping. I was sure I had already O'd but I dont know.I had bad cramps today and sore boobs. I am super lost but either way I suppose I am in the TWW window. I have been super emotional these last few weeks and my hubby decided not to do anything for my big 3 0 last night (we did end up going to a nice dinner and he got me a gift today) I basically wanted to crawl in a corner and never come out. I did a lot of crying and discussing with him last night. I am a big ball of hot mess! LOL

QOTW: I am going to say Bruno Mars tix and Panic at the Disco tickets for this summer

I'm 3dpiui for IUI #1 (stair-stepped Clomid and Ovidrel trigger). I'm still testing out my trigger.Besides my slow response to Clomid and the fact that I only had one follie, everything looked great. My lining was nice and thick, the sperm looked great. I can't decide if I should be insanely hopeful or start planning next cycle.

My boobs (mostly my nipples) are *incredibly* sore. I'm not on progesterone supplements, and it's obviously too early for implantation. Thoughts? Is it still the trigger? My natural progesterone?? Has anyone else experienced this? I've never felt like this before.

I'm on my phone, so I'll read and post to others later!

ETA QOTW- I got a really nice Kate Spade handbag for my birthday about a month ago.

Limbo here, waiting on test results for H and what the urologist has to say.  

I woke up with full on AF with awful cramping and very heavy flow on Saturday which was CD 14?  Very odd.  Will call RE once them come off service and find out what to do with that.  

QOTW-  I have a full spa day with the works booked with one of my BFFs on Friday.  I've been a mess since we got SA results last week.  Honestly I'm not sure how I'm holding it together.

@‌lebradford - My vote is the Ovidrel. That happens to me every time. It takes a few days after when I trigger to set in, but it hits hard and stays for a few days.

I'm in the 2WW. I'm 11 days past iui. I'm stupid and took a pregnancy test, of course it was a BFN. I don't know why I expected it to be any different than the seven million I've taken over the last year. 2 eggs, possibly 5, and not a single one of his 8 million sperm, after being given a giant boost, could find 1 of those eggs? Really? This BFN feels the worst & I feel stupid for being so hopeful.

@ky29 I can't remember if I participated last month (my first month)... 

We started trying 16 months ago, we are MFI and are currently in our 3rd IUI w/ injectibles.

Today I am CD7. I started Letrozole CD3 and Folistim yesterday. I have a follow up u/s tomorrow. Our IUI will probably be this weekend if everything goes like normal.

8dpIUI still convinced it didn't happen this month, husband I think is annoyed I keep comparing how I feel this month to how I felt when I was pregnant last month. He keeps telling me everyone says every pregnancy is different and I keep pointing our he is a dumb boy and knows nothing. 

QOTW: the weekend of our IUI we went to a sci-fi con in town and bought SOO many books. It was really quite crazy.

On the upside, I'm on CD7 of a brand new cycle, after confirming ovulation on a 186 day cycle, and having a normal period. So my ovaries and ute get a gold star for doing what they were supposed to do. It just took a reallllly long time.

I have my first RE appointment/PCOS consult next week, and I'm actually excited, albeit nervous. I have very many questions, and I'm kind of afraid I'll overwhelm him with a flood of questions, and the appointment won't be very productive.

Thanks to you ladies, I have a pretty decent working knowledge of PCOS and infertility. Now I just need to find out how we plan to handle it as it applies to my body.

I'm officially down 26 pounds this morning (woot!) and I'm sure that contributed to getting my body to actually cycle.

This turned into a rambling post.

Hi ladies.  Hugs to those that could use one and GL to those in the 2WW. 

We made the difficult decision to go ahead with IVF.  In my gut I just know there is a problem that IUI is not fixing, and unfortunately my RE's best bet is that it is egg quality.  We will most likely be doing PGD and then a FET in June/July.

QOTW:  We're going on a cruise in June....can't wait for the getaway from IF!

I'm 6 days post trigger, 4 DPO for a not-IUI just TI cycle (again). I'm testing out my trigger and just watching the line fade away. Wish I had any bit of self-control not to test. But no.

@lebradford - hooray, we're nipple pain sisters! Mine were so bad I was wearing a bra even at night and shower water hitting them was painful. They feel a little better today so I'm voting it was Ovidrel. Didn't happen to me last cycle but they're all different!

QOTW: we're going to Italy in September and just bought $$$ airline tickets. Trying not to play the "what if I'm KU by then" game.

Don't give up! Last cycle I had zero symptoms.. took a test at 12 dpo and it was negative. I knew it. Turns out I was pregnant.. (early loss however). Trust me, you're not out yet!! You could just implant later.

@ky29 We've been trying for 6 months, I have PCOS and have been having mostly anovulatory cycles.  I'm in my first medicated cycle right now.

Today I am CD 25, 11DPO (FF says 12DPO but I think 11 - the first day of temp rise I think was due to heavy drinking the night before, and I had CM and O pains that correlate better with being 11DPO than 12DPO).  I took letrozole CD3-7 this cycle and we did TI.  I'm now on progesterone supplements and waiting to see if BFP or BFN.  I had some wondfo squinter weirdness this morning and am crazytraining like mad right now.

QOTD: We took a week-long trip back to Atlanta, which is my hometown and where we moved from last fall, to see family and friends.  It was an expensive trip but definitely worth it - we had a good time and got to relax some, and the weather was great.

Currently on CD 5 (cycle one post HSG was a dud). Taking a Clomid break. Going all natural (besides Metformin) until July when we meet with the RE.

Last thing I splurged on was this past weekend's mini vacation with my Mom. We went to STL to see my best-friend (brother-from-another-mother) perform in the Miss Gay Missouri pageant. Sadly he did not win he was 12 of 16

We also went to the Butterfly House and Shopping. 

I bought two hopeful baby outfits at Burlington Coat Factory (a boy and a girl option). 

Then I bought a super cute swimsuit and a dress from Torrid.

We are still just moving along with TI while DH takes his clomid. We are waiting for our next SA May 9th and our follow up with the RE May 12th.
I got some nice new boots for my anniversary in February. They were a gift, but I ok'd spending the money so I still consider them a splurge.

Let's see... I'm had IUI #2 on Friday so I'm 4 days into my 2WW. Trying not to think about it too much. Happy that I'm finally getting use to metformin. Such a pain to have that pill daily.

Latest splurge... Fitbit bracelet that I bought today to help get me back in shape. I've let myself go a little and with all the meds I haven't felt like working out. So now time to drop some of that winter coat!
