Hi ladies!! DH and I will be visiting FIL in Cape Coral with our (then) 9 mo old son in May. Besides the Naples zoo...any kid friendly places in the area worth checking out that won't break the bank?
There is tons to do in the area. There is a beach. There is also Sanibel Island close which has a beach and would warrant a visit in our opinion. Cape Coral is a bit of a slow area, but the libraries are really nice and have good kid stuff and the restaurants are pretty kid friendly.
I don't know how far it is from Cape Coral but winter the dolphin is over there from the movie dolphin tale and there is also some kind of mermaid place that's supposed to be cool to see.
Beaches, koreshan, Calusa nature center, imaginarium, sunsplash, lakes park, edison estate... There's a lot to do in the Fort Myers area and most of its affordable :-)
