How is it going? What are your next steps?

We had our psych eval last week and it went well. Our last step is getting some of our forms notarized, which we are doing on Thursday. Other than that, I am 3 DPO for my last break cycle. Just waiting for CD 1 to start meds.

What's a TV show, book, magazine or movie you've been excited about lately?

TV: I've been really into Chicago Fire adn Chicago PD lately. Books: I've been downloading and reading random romance novels lately. Movies: We saw Divergent a few weekends ago. I thought they did a decent job of translating the book into a movie. We are planning on seeing Captain America this coming weekend.

Hi ladies! Congrats on all of the good news and the biggest, most squishiest hugs to anyone who needs one.

    PAIF update:

We are just a couple days shy of a week from V-day. This is a day I have ached SO long for. It's so symbolic to me and I want to jump up and down that we're almost there! I have my GTT test and follow up a/s on that same day, April 17. I am eagerly counting down the days.

Also in happy news, I am so excited that DH actually got to feel baby girl kick from the outside yesterday! I thought this would be something that we had to wait much longer for. It's really a dream come true. I think she responds to bass because we were watching a movie with techno-ish soundtrack and she was going bonkers. It was such a special moment and one I will never forget.

QOTW: I haven't really been into any new shows lately, but one that DH and I can't get enough of is Impractical Jokers on TruTV. Kind of random, but it's hilarious and I find myself laughing crazy hard throughout every episode. Just ridiculously silly.

Check In: We've narrowed down our sperm donors to two options, and have just got to decide which one is our first choice now, since we have to have a kind of insurance one in case something happens with the first choice. They are pretty much identical on paper, but our clinic do a personality compatibility test, which we didn't know about until yesterday, so we're doing that tomorrow, so we should have picked by then Wednesday, and then we should be ready to go!

QOTW: Da Vinci's Demons started over here on Friday, which I love, and Game of Thrones starts tonight, so I'm really excited about them.

HI everyone! @jalara48 I'll get you updated! Sorry about that and rock on for such a great 12w scan

So much goodness going on -sending lots of good energy. It was really nice finally having a good batch of people in the "currently cycling" section after a bit of a lull. Thinking of you all!!

I feel like I could update a TON but here's a short version. (PAIF)

    - We announced on FB last week after a good 20w a/s! I posted the pic on the LGBT board, if you want to check it out it's here.

    - I've swollen up a bit and have had lots of numb hands and feet, plus heartburn (you swell inside too) but doing lots of little things and I think it's getting better.

    - I don't know what I'd do without prenatal yoga, it's keeping my back and hips and general movement/energy up. Plus, it's really more labor comfort positions than 'traditional' yoga - I think of it more as "prenatal exercise class". And, yesterday I did a 6-mile walk!! With no pain or regret :).

I still haven't felt her move yet but hoping it'll be in the next week or two. We go on our babymoon next Wednesday to Maui!! I'm seriously counting down.

QOTW: I'll admit to posting this question while waiting for the new season of Game of Thrones to start! Excited about that for sure, and MadMen is coming soon!! Reading is mostly prego stuff at the moment, because I was nervous to start sooner I'm catching up on that...

    Thanks for the welcome!

Right now, I'm expecting a phone call from my RE on the first steps we need to do. I took my phone with me to get the mail just so I won't miss it!. I'm assuming we will do IUI with meds. Gotta wait for my period. Lets hope it comes on time.

I watch entirely too many TV shows but my new favorite is Mom. Not because of the relating storyline but because its hilarious!

Not much here just in limbo land, but actually feeling ok with it. I have my SIL's baby shower this weekend which I will admit I had a rough week last week buying her stroller etc... But I think I will be good, and I am treating myself to a pedi before I go to her shower ;-)

I am a TV addict I admit. Revenge, Scandal, Blacklist, Nashville and of course can't wait to see Game of Thrones (did not get to watch last night :( but its on the DVR!!) and also late to the game, but watching Dexter on Netfilx is my new addiction as well.

    April 2013 DE IVF= BFN

September 2013 DE IVF (Fingers Crossed) = BFFFN! again...

October 2013 FET of our last 2 = Beta Hellzz for 6-7 Weeks. M/C

Hi everyone. Congratulations @Mrs.McIrish that's wonderful news :)

AFM: We were originally leaning toward embryo adoption but after much research into egg donation this is probably now our front-runner. We are flying interstate this weekend for a SCSA (sperm fragmentation) test for my husband as we want to be 100% our embryo quality issue is not related to him and is just me :( If he tests fine we will be able to do egg donation but if not then embryo adoption is our next choice. We may still do one final cycle with my own eggs on a different protocol as there is a 2 month waiting period for approval to advertise for an egg donor (how it works in Australia). It's a whole new world but it's been reassuring to find out that we have a few options. QOTD: it has only just started but I'm a big Downton Abbey fan. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season :)

    Congrats @Mrs.McIrish!

Check In: We are just waiting for @LaireAndLia to pick their sperm donor still. I am so bloody impatient, haha.

    Huge Congratulations to @Mrs.McIrish

    GL with your upcoming cycles @Twinkie0612, @ksgsmu, @Km672, @LaireAndLia, @JimBobCooter, @ceemonkey .
    ((Hugs)) @sammer818 getting canceled sucks!!

AFM/Long overdue update: I have a Lap scheduled 5/22 to rule out endo, my RPL panel came back normal. My RE did take a better look at the NK Cell panel I had drawn at my old clinic, she indicated there were several results that were “borderline” but none that were overtly abnormal. She would typically not recommend treating equivocal results, but knowing my history and assuming they found no additional explanations at the laparoscopy she might suggest we use intralipid infusion during the next cycle.

Once I have my lap we will come up with a new plan, we may do a 180 and give DS and a few iui's a try, per the recommendation of our RE. She thinks our issue may be more of a sperm issue. She also feels a better indicator for pregnancy is age and not ovarian reserve. Ultimately we will not be able to make a definitive plan until I have the Lap.

QOTW: I am excited for this season of Game of Thrones and DH and I starting watching True Detectives--we are really liking it.

I don't know why @jalara48‌ has to be so rationale in her recommendations to @mrs.mcirish. I'm with @2MamazInSeattle‌ and all the others calling for a Friday ultrasound!

@sammer818‌--I'm so sorry your ultrasound got cancelled. I hope this Thursday's was well worth the wait.

    ***PAIF Update***
On Monday we had our "11 week" ultrasound at 10w5d and both twins looked great. They were both measuring 10w4d and had heartbeats of 167 and 165. Once @Manada god them to wake up by coughing a lot (ultrasound tech's orders), they were both dancing and moving all around, which was so nice to see.

This morning we had our first in-clinic appointment with our midwife. It went well and she explained some of what to expect to us and we asked questions. We weren't able to hear the heartbeats on the Doppler which she said was totally normal because it is so early. I'm so glad we saw them yesterday though so we don't have to worry about not hearing them. But I'm sad that since our next midwife appointment isn't for four weeks, we will have to wait that long to hear them.
We have our NT scan a week from Thursday at 12w 1d. Then we graduate from the RE and M gets to stop progesterone and estrace.

QOTW: republic of Doyle and covert affairs have been my faves on Canadian Netflix recently although I'm really glad they've just added House which M and I are now (re)watching together. I will also admit that my big guilty pleasure is "Bride Day Friday" on TLC. I come home from babysitting and TAing and watch Say Yes to the Dress and Something Borrowed, Soemthing New. (I don't know what it is about those shows. M and I had a love party instead of a wedding and I worse jeans and she wore a purple picnic dress. But I do enjoy those shows).
As for books, I've been listening to audio books from the library by Carla Neggers. She a mystery/romance person in the same general genre of Janet Evanovich (have been catching up on the last few Stephanie plum books on my kindle).
Movies-- I really enjoyed Divergent despite it's less than stellar reviews. We watched it with some friends of ours who had not read the book and they also enjoyed it.
    ****loss discussed*****

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.

    Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.

    Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response

    IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
    BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
    1st ultrasound (3/6  6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.

***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

    FET #1 December 2014
Intralipid infusion on Dec 10. Transfer of 1 day 3 nine-cell embryo into my uterus on Dec. 19. (acupuncture immediately before and after)
    BFP on Dec. 27; Beta 1 Jan 2 (14dp3dt): 665, Beta 2 Jan 4 (16dp3dt): 1859, Beta 3 Jan 6 (18dp3dt): 4449, Beta 4 Jan 10 (22dp3dt): 12,251.

    Hello everybody!

Check in: I had my first IUI of this session on Monday, then another on Tuesday and this morning, and I'll keep on having them until the 16th, and I'm having my first beta on the 27th. I've not to do any at home pregnancy tests this time around, or really check when I'm ovulating. I was certainly less nervous this time around, but also less optimistic. I had this idea in my head last time, quite ridiculously, that I'd be pregnant on the first go. I'm not entirely sure why, but I did. So I'm certainly more realistic in my expectations this time.

QOTW: Season four of Game of Thrones started on Monday over here, and I've already watched the first episode four times I think, haha.
