The four Loudoun County Swap and Shop groups on facebook (Loudoun County "Wee"cycle Swap 'n' Shop, Loudoun County Kid-2-Teen Swap-N-Shop,
Loudoun County Swap 'N' Shop, and Loudoun County VA costume swap) have been combined into one group and have moved VarageSale. You will be able to shop and search by category and even customize which categories show up in your feed! https://www.varagesale.com/loudoun-county-va-swap-n-shop
VarageSale is a new platform allowing users to build virtual garage sales on Facebook. It's very similar to what you've been using up until now and everyone should feel at home. You'll also notice many awesome features that will much improve your shopping experience. To access VarageSale, search for "VarageSale" in Facebook (top bar). Click on the app (red icon) and you will be prompted to "install" it. The process is extremely straightforward.
During the signup process, you will be asked to share things like your "basic information". This information consists of your name and profile picture (So people can see who you are), your email address (So we can send you notifications), your location (city, province-so it’s listed next to your name) and access to your friends list (So members can view all common friends).
Once installed, you may also access VarageSale by clicking its name in the Apps section of the left-hand side menu on Facebook. If you don't see it, click "more".
For iPhone users, search for “Varagesale” in the app store and install the mobile app on your iPhone. Android users can also download the mobile app from the Google Play store. All other mobile devices, go towww.varagesale.com directly from your mobile web browser rather than searching for the app in Facebook.
When you enter the app, join the “Loudoun County VA Swap ‘N’ Shop" group (https://www.varagesale.com/loudoun-county-va-swap-n-shop).
