Fractured Clavicle :(

Well, during LO's first appointment after hospital discharge, it was found that the right clavicle was depressed, so our ped sent us to get Colton an x-ray. It was very evident from the image that it was fractured. I feel so bad, not only did I fracture his clavicle, but I also bruised his face pushing him out so fast. Anyone been through this?

Your body did an amazing thing in growing and nurturing a new life, and birthed as best as it could. Pushing is hard work, and it's not something you were able to practice.

Please do not put yourself down over this. You didn't do anything wrong. There are so many things that can go wrong during childbirth. These complications are a big deal for you and your LO, but not serious health concerns. He will heal.
