Two of the best things you can do to increase your odds of a normal physiological birth are to exercise and get educated about childbirth. Keeping it fun is a real motivator! This month we'll have ICAN Pro Member Tina Harris (doula and certified Dancing for Birth instructor) discuss how exercise can improve your birth and postpartum period. Her classes help women discover and use their birth instincts to achieve vaginal birth. Participants will learn the key to getting their babies into prime position for birth, and how to correct fetal malposition, while simultaneously building strength, flexibility, and stamina. We're going to have some fun! Saturday, February 22 from 7:00 to 8:30pm at The Nesting Place What to Bring: As always, ICANoN's monthly meetings are FREE, but please bring a box of tissues, toilet paper, or paper towels to donate to The Nesting Place for letting us use their beautiful office space. Who Should Come: Two left feet? No worries! Anyone interested in healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery is welcome to attend, including doulas and other birth professionals. While childcare is not provided, children with quiet toys and babes-in-arms are welcome.
