Weaning...how to decrease supply?

I've posted before about frequent bouts of mastitis. Well I'm in the process of weaning (very slowly because of my recurrent mastitis) and my body is not getting the hint to stop making milk!! I've cut 2 of my 5 feedings over the past 4 weeks and today I got mastitis again!!! Ugh I'm so over this. Someone had posted before about trying sage, which I did and it didn't help. I was eating 1/4 tsp ground sage up to 5 times a day with no luck. I use cabbage leaves on the days I'm not at work and maybe notice a slight difference. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can decrease supply. I'm nursing in the morning, at dinner, and at bedtime. I get engorged between the morning feeding and the dinner feeding (prob 8 hours between the feedings) and have always woken up engorged. Any suggestions are welcomed!! TIA
