Infant Daycare Costs

Hey Everyone,

I am expecting my first child on September 1st and I'm big on planning ahead especially when it comes to money.  Can you all give me some idea of what average daycare costs are for an infant?  We'll only need care 3 days per week.  We live in Reynoldsburg but I work in the Easton area so I'd be looking for care near or between the two.

    I run a daycare in Dublin and we charge $51 a day.


    I have a Daughter born 2/26/2013. She is pretty much amazing!

    I am not sure you will find a center for part time infant care as most do full time only at the infant age (5 days a week). Full time for us is almost $1100 month. In home care I am not familiar with costs.

    Most we looked at in Polaris/Lewis center area only allow full time.. and we are looking at 1100-1200 a month.

     

    It is also important to look at if you have company allow child care flex spending.  I am due in June 2015, both DH and I are starting to do the child care flex starting Jan 2015, so we are saving ahead.
