Pregnant In California?

My bestie was on here like 2 years ago and she told me that to dodge some of the inevitable drama that takes place here, someone started a FB group for all the bumpies in CA who are due around the same time. 

I am going to start a page for July/August due dates and if anyone would like to join please PM me and I will provide the link. I love this idea because it would give us a chance to get to know each other better AND avoid the craziness that breaks out here sometimes! It would be a much smaller group of ladies, all in the same state and we could even organize meet-ups! 

If you live in another state, I would encourage you to do the same thing! My BF says this have been such an amazing resource for her and 18 months later all the gals are still close friends.

Damn. I was all excited when I saw the title of this post as I am in CA, but it is way too soon for FB. I have friends from Jan13 that live an hour from me and we haven't organized a meet-up yet, just not realistic.

I would love to meet other moms in my area with similar due dates. So I'll be participating in the centering pregnancy program offered by my midwife group. No need for facebook.

I am from California as well, but feel a little uneasy about joining a facebook group this early due to horror stories. I have grown pretty close to a few of the ladies on SAHM just by contributing to the board. I also love drama. Sorry OP.

Word to the wise- this lady IS the craziness. I personally wouldn't want her to know my full name/anything about my life.

Maybe we just need a CA badge so you don't have to feel alone. My first BMB tried to start a Bay Area Facebook group sometime around the 3rd tri and a whopping 6 people joined. I think there were two posts. Total. Ever.

Call me crazy but I don't get the need to know local moms on here... but oh wait, we are military so approximately 40% of my local friends are pregnant at any given time. Don't drink the water on base.
