Has anyone ever had a gender ultrasound, they tell you what the sex is, but have a sinking feeling they are wrong? We had ours done monday, the tech said baby had its legs closed tight and couldn't find it. Suddenly he said it was a boy and stopped the u/s. He rushed us out pretty quickly too. My husband and i both left feeling like we dont want to trust it 100%. We want a secosecond opinion. I will try and post a picture. Look at it good, and tell me what you think. When he moved the thing just a hair, the "penis" looked longer and like the cord or an arm.
Re: gender ultrasound wrong?
Best to get it confirmed during the anatomy scan. Techs are not rushed during those because it's a medical procedure to get vital info on your baby (and your placenta, the cord, ovaries, etc).. They last usually about an hour, so it's pleanty of time for them to take a peek a time or two to let you know.

I'm actually wondering the same thing, we were told boy at 15 weeks... But that's a little early, then we got an mri and a few if those pics look like a girl, so now I'm doubting it. We go for our 20 wk apt in 2 weeks, I'm excited to see him again to be sure he is a he!
I would give your OB a call tomorrow! And explain what happened and how it made you feel. Don't wait til your next apt or it will drive you crazy!
