sinusitis - safest antibiotic?

I feel like I have a really bad sinus infection. I'm going to go to the Dr asap. Before nursing I remember he usually prescribed me amoxicillin, penicillin, or ampicillin. Does anyone know if all of those are safe for nursing or if certain ones are safer than the others? I want to go in knowing bc although he has been a good gp he didn't really know this kind of thing when I went in for another illness in the past. TIA!

    I can't remember which antibiotic my GP prescribed when I had sinusitis, but he made it a short dose so I wouldn't have to take it too long. I think kellymom.com might have some info on antibiotics too. Hope you feel better soon!

    I took amoxicillin for a sinus infection while breastfeeding without any problems.
