First IUI

Hi Ladies,

This is my first post here, so I apologize for not using the abbreviations others use. I had my first IUI this morning and about an hour and a half later, I started feeling pressure on my lower left side of my abdomen. It's stuck around all day and hurts to walk and to sit down. Once I'm seated, it's not too bad, but I'm wondering if anyone else has felt this after an IUI or if it's something I should be worried about. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years now and insemination is our best option. I'm hoping this works the first time, even though we are aware that there are no guarantees it will.

Any advice or info would be helpful! All of my friends who have kids or are pregnant got pregnant either on their first try or within 2 months, so I need help from others who have been through this!

Had 2 IUIs and never had that. Good luck.

We are going in for iui #3 tomorrow. Iui #2 had no problems, so maybe the it was just an issue with the first one.
