I can feel my ovaries growing - the discomfort has begun!

Just venting -- The last few days, I've just felt a bit bloated, but today realized that I have gained 3 pounds in the past week (I'm on day 6 of stims).  I feel fat and uncomfortable and nauseous today.  I hate that it's just going to get worse over the next several days as my ovaries get even bigger!  My fat pants even feel tight...at this rate I'll be wearing pajamas to work next week, since that's the only thing with stretchy waist bands that will probably fit! :o(

TTC since July 2011
 
Me(33): normal HSG; diagnosed with mild PCOS

DH(35): normal SA
 
*6 cycles no meds, July-Dec. 2011, all BFN
 
*Clomid for 3 cycles, Jan-March 2011: BFP March 2011
 
*MC at 6 weeks

*2 cycles off
 
*Started TTC again July 2012 with Clomid, 6 cycles from July-Dec. 2012, all BFN
 
*1 cycle no meds: BFN
 
*1 cycle Femara: BFN
 
*1st RE visit March 2013 - first IUI in April 2013 with Femara, Menopur, and Novarel (BFN); second IUI in May 2013, same protocol (BFN); two cycle break;  third IUI in August 2013, same protocol (BFN)

*1st IVF cycle, October 2013 (Synarel, Menopur (75 iu), and Gonal-F (150 iu)) -- BFP!!  Saw two babies at our 5wk5d u/s on Oct. 28th!  EDD=June 25, 2014

    My husband got a kick out of me walking around with undone pants last night and said "Oh, this is acceptable now?" And promptly unbuttoned and unzipped his pants.  LOL.  Yes the bloat and uncomfortableness is on my mind, but it's a good thing because we've got a good amount of follies growing.  Hang in there!  FX it's totally worth it.

    I feel you! I went in yesterday and asked my RE how much longer because my bloating tummy was out of control... He laughed and said to get use to it because it's not going to get smaller anytime soon.... Lol I guess I it really didn't click with me until then that yes I'm working on getting pregnant and this could be a reality very soon FX anyway!

    Omg wait until you trigger! Gonna feel like you're going to explode at ER! Its all good!

    Three ectopic preganacies in left tube in 1999, 2003 and 2004. HSG in 2010 concluded left tube blockage. IUI with femara in 2012 BFN. IVF #1 June 2013, 20 retreived, 14 mature, 12 fertilized via ICSI, one transferred, four frozen, BFN.  FET in September 2013 - BFN:( FET #2 April 2014 - BFP!!!!

    Hang in there! I had 11+ follies (11 measurable, 5 of which were mature, and there were smaller ones in there too) on my last cycle. Bloat-a-rama! I can only imagine what it's going to feel like when they're all mature on my first IVF cycle. Thank goodness for jeggings. And Vera Wang pants. Elastic waists should be a requirement on all the pants!

           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome

    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    Tell me about it... 50 follies around 11-12mm right now. Not looking forward to the ER!! Lol!

    My RE says the nausea is normal and due to increasing estrogen. Between that, the cramps, the bloating, the sharp quick headaches and the just overall pressure, I'm just a ball of fun over here :-)

    But hang in there girl, this is only temporary!

    Know the feeling! Luckily I wear scrubs to work but I definitely invested in some comfy/cute yoga style pants from target! It made me feel a little better if I looked cute & stylish haha!
    2013- 2 IVF cycles with PGD to prevent genetic disorder from being passed on. Both BFFN :(
    2/2014 pregnant!  EDD 10/17/2014

    I totally feel you.  My fat pants ended up not fitting!  I had to do the trick of using a hair tie to keep my buttons closed.  It'll def be worth it, though!

    Tonight will make my 3rd day of stims. I can feel all of the discomfort as well. Tomorrow will be my first U/S since taking stims. I will update tomorrow. However, I keep drinking water to help with the follicle growth, but boy am I feeling it. Last cycle I had to stim for 10 days. Looks like I too better get use too this ! I welcome it in some weird sorta way. Lol I know it's working...

    Thank you so much, ladies!  Sometimes you just need to know you're not alone!  My RE counted 19 follies yesterday, we'll see how many show up tomorrow.  My e-level was 1004 yesterday, so it can only continue to skyrocket from here!  My DH laughed at me this morning when I was getting ready for work in only a t-shirt and panties - I told him if I had to be uncomfortable wearing pants all day, at least I could be comfortable until the last possible minute at home until I had to leave!  I'm debating whether to pull out the Spanx tonight (I have a cocktail party/fundraiser I have to go to), but I'm leaning towards just being fat and comfortable in a loose dress, rather than trying to squeeze myself into what I'd normally wear. 

    Grow, follies, grow!! ;o)

    The thought of squeezing 19 growing follies into Spanx does not sit well in my mind! I say go for the loose dress :)

    Sorry you are uncomfortable but that means its working. You got lots going on in there.  I'm hoping to be more uncomfortable this time around if that makes any sense!  HA.  
    ***SIGGY WARNING***

    DX: Unexplained
    6 Failed IUIs (Clomid and Gonal F).  
    IVF #1 began August 2013- BC, 4 days of Estrace, stimmed with Gonal F and Menopur, Ganirelix, 9R 5M 5F, Medrol and Doxycycline, 5 day transfer of 2 early blastocysts- good quality, Progesterone, Estrace, and baby aspirin, BETA on 9/20 BFN,   IVF #2 began September 2013, stimming with Gonal F (higher dose) and Menopur, Ganirelix, 18R 14M 9F with ICSI, 5 day transfer of 2 BBs one was starting to hatch, 2 frosties: 1  BB and 1 AC, BETA on 10/21, BFN BETA was a 5- chemical 
    Getting some more testing and trying to figure out what the issue is before FET in December, started acupuncture on 11/10, RLP and some other BW nothing major to report except slightly high Prolactin. Prolactin was slightly high when I started with my RE and I already had an MRI which was Neg.  Endo biopsy=negative.  WTF is wrong with us???
    12/18/13 FET of 1 BB and 1 AC.  Hoping for a miracle.  Beta 12/26 Low BETA-8 2nd BETA 5- chemical
    After 3 failed transfers IDK where to go from here.  Still no real answers as to why this isn't working.  Getting a second opinion in February and looking into immune testing.  
    2/14- NEW RE- Immune testing showed a partial dq alpha match with DH- On prednisone and did intralipids prior to transfer.  3/14 Lupron, gonal f, menopur, HGH.  ER 15 mature all 15 fertilized!  5dt of an early blast grade 1 and an expanded blast grade 2.  BETA on 4/21.  1 grade 2 embryo frozen
    BETA #1 59 BETA #2 148 BETA #3 283 BETA #4 2,783! US at 6w2d shows 1 bean measuring right on track! HR 121.  US at 8w3d measuring on track HR 177. Released form my RE.  EDD 12/28
