Here's her story...
At 38w Tuesday lost my mucus plug in pieces days up to her birth.
Friday had an appt and midwife said cervix was only 1cm and very high. Saturday morning at work felt a lil gush of fluid and new it had to be a leak bc I swear I didn't pee myself. Went to the hospital at 2pm to get checked and out of 3 af tests only one came positive and I wasn't having major contractions so I was sent home hoping something would happen otherwise I was to return the next morning to be retested and possibly induced.
Well at home 8pm that night my contractions started to get a lil intense. Went to bed at 10pm and woke up with a similar contraction at 1am (while periodically leaking) as soon as I got up to me my water broke! Gushing lots of water to the toilet.
Got to the hospital by 2am and in the birthing tub by 2:30. Labored for another hour and half until I was over heating and baby's heart rate wouldn't bounce back fast enough so I had to get out of the tub and deliver in bed :-/
I pushed for 35 mn and she was born at 4:51am. Happiest moment for me and my husband!
