Sleep Disturbances

This has happened twice this week, and has happened several times in the past. I wake up out of nowhere seeing spiders crawling on the walls, or hanging in front of my face, or several spiders in spiderwebs. I have woken up twice this week, screaming and totally freaked out because it looks so real. Then after about 30 seconds I'm able to realize they're not there. Sometimes I have to actually turn the lights on and search for them because it seems so real.
I'm not really stressed out. I've been a bit sleep deprived lately, but it happens even when I'm well rested.

When DS was first born, for several months I would hear him crying and I'd wake up in a panic, ripping the pillows and sheets off the bed searching for him because I thought he was in the bed. But he wasn't.
And recently I've woken up freaking out thinking he was in my room when I fell asleep (this never happens in reality, he's always in his bed when I fall asleep) worried that he got downstairs or something. Always to find him in his bed safe and secure.
I just don't know why I wake up in such a panic.
I've seen bugs upon waking for as long as I remember. Like as young as nine years old.
DH is bothered by it too. He doesn't understand that I can't control it and I wake up screaming because I'm scared and I just can't stop myself from screaming. Last night I think he told me he wanted me to go see a doctor.
Does this happen to anyone else here??
I've looked online and it seems a lot of people go through this.
It seems to happen a lot within short periods of time, and then stop for a while then start again.
Starting to "bug" me!
Anyone?

I have had this happen with spiders as well, but it usually results from me seeing one or reading about something like that during the day. It used to happen alot more when I was stressed and when we first had Landon. I never woke up screaming though. If you are super concerned, go see a Dr. and see what they have to say. Sorry...it sucks, I hope you can get it figured out!

I am terrified of spiders and have thought I seen them on the walls, pillows ect while I'm sleeping. One time when I was still living at home I thought a spider was coming down from the ceiling. I woke up screaming, ran into my parents' room and was a blabbing mess for about 30 secs until I fully woke up. It was the craziest thing ever but hasn't happened since. If it is happening frequently to you, it wouldn't hurt to see a Dr.

I could have written this post, minus the spiders! Ever since we moved DS into his crib at 6 weeks I have slept walk EVERY night (minus vacations). That's over 16 months of sleep walking. I wake up in a complete panic thinking that he is in bed with us and has fallen out or is stuck in the covers. I throw everything around, fall on the floor searching for him. DS has NEVER been in our bed, not as a baby to nurse (I always took him to his room), not to play, not even to snuggle in the morning. I am petrified of falling asleep with him in bed.
DH is pretty used to it by now and sleeps right through it. He used to play along but then realized out terrified I was.

I used to sleep walk a lot anyway, but it was only when I watched something high energy before bed or was under a lot of stress.

I asked my dr and she said to just try and relax before bed. They won't send me for a sleep study because its the element of the house/DS that makes me sleep walk and a sleep study would be away from home.

Guess ill never sleep through the night!
