Personally, I VERY rarely drink coffee. Maybe once every month. Mainly because I don't have a coffee maker and I don't care for drinking it very often. I drink soda every few days, but it is mostly caffeine free types like Root Beer. I don't keep it in the house and only get it if I am out to eat or something.
I try to only drink caffeine if I have a headache. For me, it works better than regular strength Tylenol. If I do have to drink caffeine, I limit it to one regular can of soda per day.
I have one cup of coffee a day, otherwise I get migraines. I had a migraine every single day for the first 5 months pf my pregnancy with my first. Not taking the chance this time around. On weekends, if I know I'm going out to an early lunch I might skip the coffee and have some ice tea instead. I try not to overdo it with the caffeine, even though I know you can have 2 cups a day.
As for Diet coke, I just steal a big sip here and there from DH. I drank a lot of soda last pregnancy and I'm trying not to do it this time around.
I cut back on my coffee, but I really love it too much to give it up completely. I have a cup in the morning and sometimes a cup in the afternoon. That is really my only caffeine, no tea or soda for me.
I used to drink a cup of coffee every morning, but in the first few months of pregnancy I really didn't want it anymore, due to nausea. It's only been in the last couple of weeks that I've started drinking it again, because I'm a fan of iced coffee in the summer. I have about one a week. I don't really drink soda at all. Ultimately it's up to you and what you think is best. Moderation is key.

I love coffee, but it made me vomit during my first pregnancy. I did drink 1 diet coke per morning throughout the entire pregnancy though. A can of diet coke equaled about 40 mg of caffeine, well below the 200 mg my doctor recommended.
I have a cup of coffee every day bc the headaches were awful. When I asked my dr about it, she said that pregnant women and caffeine have existed together on the planet for millions of years and we're still here...that I should have the cup of coffee
Coffee has been giving me awful heartburn so I've been avoiding it all together. I had a regular Pepsi the other day and about jumped out of my skin, I was not used to the caffeine anymore. I've been craving Sierra Mist and that is caffeine free.

I'm an avid coffee drinker. I drink it sun up to sun down. When I found out I was pregnant (after 5 miscarriages) I realized I had been drinking that much caffeine and freaked out. Cut it cold turkey. This resulted in serious migraines and the dr told me to start drinking again lol. I have a bad aversion to hot coffee, even still in my 18th week, but love iced. I drink about one cup a day now, and no more headaches . (I have interstitial cystitis and can't drink soda, so that's never been an issue with me)
Pre-pregnancy, I was a coffee addict. Like 4 cups a day. But honestly now I am a cup every few days type of gal. I'm sure it'll go back to normal after I deliver, but for now I find that it's easier not to have to worry about how much of it I drink, plus it tends to bother my stomach now.
As far as soda goes, I usually will have about a can a day. I drink sprite only, and usually only when my stomach is acting up, because the bubbles tend to help me feel better.

I try to limit myself to 1 caffeine bev a day. I know when it turns cold this fall I'll drink a coffee in the morning, so may skip the lunch time pop, or have a smaller 8 ounce can. I have heard diet soda is not good while pregnant because of an ingredient...either nutra-sweet or aspertame? Sorry about spelling! Trying to avoid Starbucks just bc theirs has more caffeine than normal household coffee.
I get my medium iced macchiato breve every morning (that I'm not running late) and drink a Dr. Pepper every couple days w. lunch or at 3 o'clock when I can barely stay awake... But then again I also enjoy my real sushi & medium rare steaks too! Too each is own! This my 3rd and all my babies are happy & healthy...
I drink coffee throughout my pregnancies. I drink a lot of coffee usually, and reduce how much when I'm pregnant, but still drink it. A couple cups a day.
I've cut down a lot but I usually do one little coffee per day OR maybe a soda, usually not both. I had neither today (in an effort to try to be healthier) and I have definitely paid the price for it this afternoon!
Curious though, have there been any studies linking caffeine consumption of moms to babies that aren't good sleepers? Totally naive question from a FTM.

It is up to you how much caffeine you drink.
